Fifteen years across simulation engineering, a doctorate in stakeholder decision-making, and a founded company — now spent on health and industrial AI products where the data is sensitive, the infrastructure has to stay in Europe, and someone has to answer for how the model reached its conclusion.

What I work on

Product leadership in regulated AI
Owning strategy and delivery where the constraint is not the model but the rules around it: data contracts, provenance, consent, and the evidence a regulator will actually ask for.
Compliance that ships instead of blocking
Turning GDPR, the EU AI Act, and the German GDNG requirements into roadmap items with owners and dates.
Sovereign and federated infrastructure
Self-hosted LLM deployment and federated learning on EU infrastructure, for organisations that cannot move data to a non-EU Cloud.
Simulation and multi-stakeholder decision systems
Discrete-event and agent-based simulation for logistics and manufacturing, and the harder part — getting parties with conflicting incentives to agree on what the model should optimise.

Head of Product

Loretta Health — federated risk intelligence for German insurers and health systems

  • Owned platform and data integration strategy for a federated causal ML platform: data contracts, API standards, and GDPR-compliant EU-sovereign infrastructure.
  • Led GenAI productisation on self-hosted LLM infrastructure with data provenance and EU AI Act governance built in from the start.
  • Wrote the PRDs for an occupational health platform and a physician dashboard, and built the commercial proposals behind them.

Thread UG — B2B translation software for German public institutions

  • Selected as one of four startups funded by the Berlin Startup Stipendium through the Avant Now accelerator.
  • Shipped the flagship mobile app to 37,000 installs in its first release cycle at a 4.0 rating on Google Play.
  • Drafted and negotiated the GDPR data-processing agreements and SaaS contracts myself.
  • Currentlz, looking into creating DoLLaMo, a language model specifically trained on bureaucratic and other domain translations.

  • Dissertation on technology-driven participatory decision-making in logistics, across EV battery supply chains, port-city logistics, and intra-factory production.
  • Simulation in SUMO and SimPy, NSGA-II multi-objective optimisation, blockchain, and agentic LLM frameworks.
